The New Sardis Youth Ministry encompasses all youth activities of our congregation. Our mission is to reach youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ through quality programming that uplifts our youth and engages our community.

Our pastor and our congregation have a passion for youth ministry and work through evangelism to bring souls to Christ as youth so that our children may live full and abundant lives into adulthood in the will of God.

Our Youth Ministry consists of:

Youth Sunday School (ages 6 weeks to 18 years old)
Church Nursery (ages 6 weeks to 8 years old) during church services
Youth Church
Youth Praise Dance
Youth Choir
Youth Usher Ministry
AWANA Citywide Bible Club
District level, State level, and National level youth fellowship
Collegiate Scholarships
Collaboration with A.J. Rickoff School (our community school and partner)
Collaboration with MyCom engaging in Youth Development (a community partner)

The Youth Ministry is actively involved in ministry within the church as well as in the community. During the COVID-Era our ministry remained active with our youth and engaged them with virtual youth services and outings. Some activities that we have engaged our youth with are:

Community Day and Book Bag Giveaway
Youth Weekend
Visits to the Charles Wright African-American History Museum in Detroit, MI.
Christmas Toy Giveaway
Nursing Home visitation
AWANA Citywide Bible Club
Movie Outings
