I'M NEW HERE

The New Sardis Primitive Baptist Church is a century old, multi-generational, trauma-informed ministry in the heart of the Historic Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of the city of Cleveland that upholds that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!

Our primary mission which fuels the vision of our church is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world (as documented in St. Matthew 28:19-20) with a focus on His redeeming grace for salvation through substitutionary atonement.  It is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and our accepting Him as our Lord and Savior that we firmly believe is the basis for personal salvation.

As a fellowship of believers, we strive towards being a loving, caring, and praying congregation that is sensitive to where God is at work. Through the act of discipleship, we seek to grow in our faith in God through studying God's Word; engaging in service to God through serving humanity with social action programming like our food bank and our benevolence giving; and strengthening relationships with one another through fellowshipping with one another and with others.
